Double - Phase Stainless Steel Structure And Type

Two - phase stainless steel has the characteristics of both austenitic stainless steel and ferritic stainless steel. The yield strength can reach 400Mpa ~ 550MPa, 2 times that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel. Compared with ferritic stainless steel, biphasic stainless steel has high toughness, low brittle transition temperature and improved intercrystalline corrosion resistance and welding performance. At the same time retain the some characteristics of ferritic stainless steel, such as 475 ℃ brittleness, high thermal conductivity, small linear expansion coefficient, superplasticity and magnetism, etc. Compared with austenitic stainless steels, two-phase stainless steels have higher strength, especially higher yield strength, and their properties such as resistance to pore corrosion, stress corrosion and corrosion fatigue are also improved. According to the chemical composition, duplex stainless steels can be classified into Cr18 type, Cr23(Mo free) type, Cr22 type and Cr25 type. Cr25 dual - phase stainless steels can be divided into normal and super - duplex stainless steels. The duplex stainless steel used in China is mainly produced in Sweden, and the specific brands are: 3RE60(Cr18 type), SAF2304 (Cr23 type), SAF2205 (Cr22 type), SAF2507(Cr25 type).
